Panfish action continues to be great, you still have to work to find them, but they are schooled up so you can catch a bunch of them usually. fish in 18-25 feet of water on cribs, also don’t overlook fishing the shallow green weeds too. tube jigs and minnows are the best baits now.
Largemouth bass are still in the green weeds, they can be caught on stick baits, jigs, and soft plastics.
Smallmouth bass are on deeper rock and gravel bars, they can be caught on live bait, soft plastics, and jigs.
Northern pike are still in the green weeds and can be caught on chubs, stick baits, and jigs.
Musky action continues to be great, fish the main river channels and shallow rock and weeds. Slammers, jerko’s, and bulldawgs are the top baits, along with suckers on Clip-N-go rigs. Make sure with the suckers to set the hook immediately to make sure the fish doesn’t swallow the hook.
