Whitefish Lake is a wonderful body of water. It posseses the rare combination of size, clarity, and low population density. It is located in Wascott, about five miles West of Highway 53. It is the deepest lake in our area, with a maximum depth of 102 feet. It is also one of the largest, at 832 acres. It boasts a very diverse fishery, but because of its water clarity, it can be difficult to fish. Walleye are the most common target for anglers, but a nice population of Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass do exist here as well. Feel free to post your comments here!
